$500-5000 USD
Paid on delivery
-Objective: Application to print shipping labels from information in a hosted MySQL database.
-Database stucture is not static so must be able to specify field locations.
-For example: "Street Address" line is currently in Column 5 but might be in 6 in future
-In preferences section, application loads first record in database for user to select correct fields
-Preferences section has ability to input a static line of text onto labels
-For example "Thanks for ordering!" in line 1 of return address
-This text is alterable by application user in preferences section.
-Automatically chooses date range to print labels for.
-For example: prints labels with "ship date" from 10 to 15 days in future.
-Date range is automaticly chosen but user adjustable from preferences section.
-Application takes information on products ordered and recipient data and prints custom code on label
-For example: 1225 = "Product 1", "Type 2", "Recipient age = 25"
-"Recipient Age" is a calculation from birth date and today's date.
-Application stores locally "printed through ship date"
-For example: User prints through "ship dates" of 05-21-07
-Then tries to print again and 05-21-07 is still in print range
-application notifies user of overlap and does not print labels that have already been printed.
-User override of "already printed"
-User can override the "already printed" function in case of printer failure.
-Ability to switch between various standard label sizes
-This will affect font sizes chosen for each
-Standard Avery shipping label sizes
-Database dates can be either in MM-DD-YY, DD-MM-YY, MM-DD-YYYY, or DD-MM-YYYY
-Set in preferences section.
-User will likely FTP the database to local desktop drive before running application.
-All code will be inspected by 3rd party developer for malicious code and poor design.
