cross-platform (Mac/PC) video-capture program

We need an idiot-proof app, with a very simple user interface, to capture video from a webcam or digital-video camera, and audio from any microphone source. Required features: * Drop-down menus for selecting video and audio source devices * Slider control to adjust microphone input volume ONLY when our pre-set level needs adjustment * Start/stop recording button * Preview window to display the live video as it is being captured * Elapsed-recording-time display * Audio and video capture for continuous sessions of an hour or more, saved on a local hard disk in a single complete file (MPEG, WMV, MOV, or AVI) with no dropped frames * Automatic upload of the saved recording to our server via FTP, if the computer is connected to the internet
