Your job will be to integrate a SOAP and WSDL serializer and deserializer for my custom Delphi classes (RealThinClient SDK), which now support serialization and deserialization of objects using a proprietary text-based format. For this project, deep understanding of XML, SOAP and WSDL is of highest importance.
Those classes are simple containers for basic Delphi types (integer, string, float, datetime, etc) and some "complex" types like record, array, stream and dataset.
Classes which have to be extended already contain most of the information for both (WSDL and SOAP request/response generation), but if more information is necessary, you will have to extend the classes with additional properties to make it work.
NOTE: I will be unavailable from April 22nd to May 15th and will be choosing a coder on May 30th. Whoever wins this Bid will have to file weekly status reports on every friday. Deadline is now set to 45 days, but it can be exceded to 60 days, if coder shows good progress and needs more time for coding/debugging.
## Deliverables
1) Complete source code in Delphi of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-compile condition.
3) This is a Delphi project and resulting classes have to be independent of any other COM/DCOM classes or functions. In other words, you are not allowed to use any existing SOAP/WSDL/XML parsers to accomplish this task, everything has to be done "from scratch". If you need more info on the classes which have to be "extended", feel free to download the RTC SDK GPL package and take a look at the "[login to view URL]" unit:
4) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
## Platform
Resulting code has to be capable of processing any SOAP-compatible requests and responses, regardless of the OS or pogramming language they are coming from. It also has to be able to generate and parse a WSDL file. Highest possible compatibility has to be achieved with most common standards like Java, PHP and ASP.NET.
