Adaptation of the Xoops Forum module

We'd like a small interface adjustment made to the Xoops main Forum module (newbb, if I am not mistaken). The present interface with the various categories and topics is far too complicated for our needs, and the drill-down is irritating for our users. We need the interface to be simply linear - each new post appears in a LIFO order with replies connected to the relevant post. The user should also immediately be looking at the posts as soon as he enters the forum module, rather than having to click through layers forum/category/topic selections.
