Dating Site Implementation/Modifications

The project is a dating site as an adjunct to existing community networking print publication. (see [url removed, login to view]) To include basic dating functionality, events scheduling for singles activities similar to [url removed, login to view] functionality, groups/forums etc.
Would like to start with one of the existing script packages and will need assistance with the selection process. Will be purchasing license for chosen program. I will need a programmer to customize the software functionality.
I will be doing the graphic design for the overall layout presentation. I will not be doing any of the web implementation.
I'm looking for a programmer with significant experience working with dating websites along with sufficient familiarity with the various commercial scripts on the market to recommend the optimal program on which to base the site.
I will want ongoing support after the initial project is completed and have an additional social networking project to follow this one.
