hello
i am a professional 3d artist and illustrator. i use daz in my daily work.
please make sure when you want to upload a purchased item, that you follow strictly the the instruction. it is very important to save the file(s) in the correct folders. also make sure that you not miss a part of the file(s). often you have more than just one file to install.
your problem with the boxes: i guess you mean that your model is shown in the viewport you see your model in boxes and not in the normal texture shaded mode. Please make sure that you have selected "texture shaded" from the menu on the top left corner. In case you have selected this already, please check the display options in the tool settings. First select the Universal Tool by going to TOOLS --> Universal. Then open the 'Tool Settings' Pane by going to WINDOW --> Panes --> Tool Settings. Scroll towards the bottom to 'Node Highlighting.' Change the Draw Style to 'Bounding Box & Surface.' Look farther down to 'During Manipulation.' Set Draw Style to 'Use Current (Off)' and now see whether you have the bounding boxes.
If you still are having trouble with this, please check also your video card (graphics card) in your computer system and the version of OpenGL that it supports. You can find this by going to HELP --> Trouble-shooting --> About your video card.
hope the helps
kind regards
jens
