I need assistance with our attorney database on [login to view URL]
Our problem is that the way the database is currently set up, it's not protected from being altered or destroyed by those I want to give access to view it.
I, the marketing director and possibly a few other key individuals, need to have the ability to change or delete attorney information in our database.
However, the majority of those viewing the database, the consultants, need to be required to input a username and password to view it, but not be allowed to make changes on the database.
I would like to have the ability to change one single password for all of the consultants on a daily or weekly basis.
There are currently 235 attorneys in our phplist database. If our needs can be met by using the current phplist database, that would be fine. If it needs to change to a different format or database software, that would be fine as well. If that were the case, my hopes are that we can merge or easily move the information the the new database.
This database contains attorney contact information. However, we do not want to allow attorneys access to the database to view other attorneys in our network.
I would like the site to have another tab that appears next to the Contact Us tab that says, "Database Access." The content on this new web page should read:
This database is viewable by consultants who have clients that have entered our program and need the representation of a local attorney in our network. The User Name and Password required to view this database change on a regular basis.
