Conference Sales Representative

Position Brief:

Sell sponsorship and exhibitor packages to key prospects and accounts within healthcare. Focus on account management and acquiring new clients. Sponsorship deals range from $1,000 – $50,000.

Key responsibilities:

• Increase sponsorship revenues for a digital healthcare conference.

• Identify sponsorship sales opportunities with existing and new accounts.

• New business development – proactively identify new opportunities to develop our portfolio.

• Field based activity may be required to further develop relationships with client visits.

• Convert leads into confirmed business; prepare proposals if and when necessary.

• Provide a high level of account management service and strengthen the client relationship.

• Working effectively with the organization’s teams - marketing and executive team.

• Provide accurate management reports on a bi-weekly basis, event pipelines and account plans.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience within the life sciences/ insurance/technology space.

• Proven experience in a business development role.

• Proven record of strategic sponsorship sales.

• Passionate customer focused attitude.

• Strong interpersonal, listening and communication skills.

• Excellent negotiation and rapport building skills.

• High degree of empathy and business acumen.

• Strong drive and ambition.

• Good organizational and time management skills.

Position Details:

Salary: $20 an hour; 1 to 5% incentive on sponsorship closed; Work from home
