Develope simple perl script with some shell and tcp-communication

I want to have developed a short and sweet perl script that gathers and submit local LAN IP-addresses to a central server over tcp. Perl-script should run with regular intervalls set in a config file. In addition, it shall also include running services (ports) and mac for these IPs. 1. Gather data. 2. Submit these data over tcp. 1. Gather data (run as a service would be prefered, at intervalls) Run "arp-scan --quiet --interface=eth0 --localnet" (this gets all IP-addresses/mac on local network). Run "nmap" on each of these ip-addresses (get ALL running services for every IP detected above). Other ways to find IP/services that is fast/easy can also be considered, but it must be easly supported. 2. Send data to a master server Since it can be up to 512 IPs with port-data, you must find best way to limit or divide data if it goes over any sending limits. I think, by using $_POST, that it will not be a problem, but.. Before you send the data (one one big submit to a URL you will get from me) or even start scanning locally, your script must check if it has permission from the master server (reciver) to send over the data. If not permission, the script should disable it self (disable by setting flag scan=0 in [login to view URL]). Two files: 1. [login to view URL] (arp-scan, nmap, communucation-code) 2. [login to view URL] (enable=0, code=f4347F738FN,server=[login to view URL], interval=20m) The perl-script (or even bash-script) must check that it has everything it needs (like sockets, nmap and arp-scan) so that any errors can be detected and solved fast. I want short short code, few files (two) and no big library or seperate helper classes. Should work with very few tweaks on client system. At least Centos (6 and 7) must be supported on the client system. Communication over secure channels (https or similar).
