I need someone to show me how to install and setup a MySql server. I need someone that can share their screen or record their screen and send it to me after.
This should only take about 30 minutes.
The Linux distro is CentOS 5.6
Here is a step by step of what we would like to see in the video:
1.) Install MySQL, PHP and PHPMyAdmin, FTP
2.) Lock Down IP tables for MySql, PHP, FTP(Just for backup), and configure simple firewall
3.) I would like to connect to Mysql from PHPMyAdmin and directly with a MySQL Client..
4.) I will restore a DB and test it with an existing WordPress installation.
Any questions let us know!

Hey Everyone,
Some people have asked for a more detailed description of what we are going to be doing.
Right now we have CentOS installed, if you recommend another OS for running a dedicated MySQL server just let me know.
Here it is:
1.) Install MySQL, PHP and PHPMyAdmin, FTP
2.) Lock Down IP tables for MySql, FTP(Just for backup), and configure simple firewall
3.) Should I use a SSL certificate for safety?
4.) If possible for security reasons I would like to skip PHPmyadmin and just connect to the MySQL server directly with a client. I'm familiar with SequelPro for Mac.
5.) If phpmyadmin is safe then we will do that and open the iptable for php.
6.) I will restore a DB and test it with an existing WordPress installation.
The most important thing is we want it to be secure, so we are looking for your guidance on how to make this a simple, dedicated MySQL server.
Thanks, Epicio Inc.
