Auto-Update Multiple Pages

For my new website I need to be taught and also given a html/css code to be able to automatically have an extra page when so many items are on the current page. My website is quite like a blog, but in each category it has articles which when clicked on has it own separate page. With this job I'm waiting to be able to receive a code that when more 6 articles are on that page then automatically another page is created and then carrys onto the next.
