Changes to Wordpress theme for customizations

We are converting our wordpress site from a fully-developed, custom theme to a stock-purchased theme from Themeforest called Striking. We would like some minor customizations performed to the stock-purchased theme to map over some of the design effects of the former fully-customized theme. We are doing this because the fully-developed custom theme will not work with a lot of common plugins, and honestly it’s just too much work to support. The stock-purchased theme provides the facility to extend and customize the theme within reason. I am anticipating you will need to apply some direct changes to one template file and the rest should be able to be accomplished through custom CSS changes. These custom CSS changes should be handled within the theme’s built-in customization areas. Before bidding you must be able to receive calls either via phone or skype and speak English. I am very familiar with using the stock-purchased theme Striking. I can quickly show you what we are expected through a remote session and will review the changes together to verify you understand the desired outcome. All changes should not jeopardize the functionally of the stock-theme. Your changes should be introduced keeping in mind the well designed aspects of this theme. Your changes will also be fully documented so that upgrades to the theme cause minimal effort to insert your custom changes again. The changes we would like performed are as follows: 1. Add style changes to the pull-down menu to incorporate some framing, horizontal and vertical bars. I’ve already have started this but I am an amateur with firebug to figure out all the changes needed. These changes should be added through the theme’s built-in Custom CSS areas of the theme administration, not through direct editing the stylesheets of the theme. 2. Modify the [login to view URL] file (I believe it’s the [login to view URL]) to incorporate the following changes: a. If the page to be displayed is a page (not a post) then use the attached featured image of the page as a header banner. I’ve attached two screen shots to demonstrate what the stock-purchased theme currently displays and what we are expecting. There are several more edits we would like to make in the future including some custom shortcodes, but since keeping the quality and integrity of the stock-purchased theme intact is most important we would like to make sure you are able to support this correctly before any additional projects are defined.
