Build a Website using Ruby on rails

A free reminder service for users. Using the DVLA api system Yes Mechanic is a simple app to remind people when their car TAX and MOT is due for renewal. Users will be able to download an android app or signup on the website or mobile website. Each of these needs to be created. Users will join Yes Mechanic by adding the email address vehicle registration and vehicle make, the api will then gather the information on the vehicle from the DVLA and store it in the Yes Mechanic database. Yes Mechanic will then create 2 reminders for when these dates are due, one for the TAX and one for the MOT. Four weeks before the due date Yes Mechanic will send an email, text message and push notification to the user reminding them to renew tax or mot. We will use a traffic light system in the app to show the status of the dates Green is ok, Amber is due for renewal within the next 4 weeks and red is expired needs renewing immediately. We also want to encourage the user to share and recommend the friends and contacts to join Yes Mechanic. If we can access their contacts on the through the app to send a message to come and join us or through email if they join through the website. The Website and app will need to sync together so users can access the information from there profile/account either online or on the app. This website and apps will need to allow the user to book any maintenance they need on there vehicle, this will need to work like [login to view URL]
