My company manages websites and provides digital marketing services to landlords in the NYC area. We have an existing site that contains information about a particular client's properties as well as a blog about neighborhood news and some other features. The site's overall design is solid and the client is happy with it. However, an executive at the company wants to see a mock up of a homepage that expands the amount of information currently available therein. Currently the homepage is a large image with a few translucent boxes floating over it containing navigation, apartment listings, and a search box. The proposed tweak to the design would add additional content boxes "below the fold" thus making the homepage taller. In addition, we need a mock up of an accordion-style mobile version of the same content.
The site is running in a Java-Tomcat-Apache CMS of our own design. Bidders should be able to reference the CSS and contents of the existing site, as well as wireframes of the revised page architecture that we will provide, to create Photoshop mockups of these two needed pages.
This is a small DESIGN project. However, if the mockups are approved, there will be a new follow-on project to develop revised, responsive templates (CSS, HTML, JS) for this site. Therefore, the winning bidder should be able to fulfill the template CODE requirements of the NEXT project as well as the DESIGN deliverables in this small project.
THIS IS NOT A PROJECT FOR WORDPRESS DESIGNERS. The winning bidder must be capable of creating, from scratch, responsive interface templates for a Java-based, enterprise-grade site. Revised templates for this site must work across all the standard browsers and mobile devices so the winning bidder should be able to QA their own code and ensure it works in our CMS.
We work with several designers across our client portfolio and are looking for another one to add to the team for this client. Typically our designers get projects several times a year from our clients.
JUST TO REITERATE:
DELIVERABLES FOR THIS PROJECT
1. Photoshop comp of a revised web homepage (content and wireframe will be provided)
2. Photoshop comp of a responsive/mobile version of same (content and wireframe will be provided)
Again: You are bidding on a DESIGN project, but we would like the winning bidder to be able to develop all CSS/HTML/JS IF ANN ONLY IF we proceed to another project to build the design.
THERE IS NO CODE DUE FOR THIS PROJECT, JUST 2 PSD FILES!
THIS IS LESS THAN A DAYS WORK.
