Delphi 7 OCR Software

Our existing software is based on Delphi 7. We want to integrate a new function that reads graphic files or PDF's (image format), runs OCR software and saves the text into a Word Document. We need this to OCR testimonials, resumes etc sent in via regular mail and that have to be converted to text. The coder shall develop a small Delphi 7 application that lets the user choose an input file and an output file. The input file can be of type graphics and shall be processed via OCR. The result (converted text) shall be saved in a Word Document. We don't expect the coder to develop the OCR software. Instead we expect the coder to find the best OCR software that can be used (such as a Delphi Component) to deliver professional results. The OCR software can be either a) Open source or b) Software we need to purchase. In case the OCR software will cost money we need to know the price together with the bid. Otherwise we can't accept the bid.
