I had an idea for a tool that would analyze a Microsoft Project file, run various metrics, and then display any "errors" that need to be fixed. It would also create a graph that could display results in each category, as well as overall project health" over time. The tool would be customizable and allow us to create different sets of criteria templates to be used for different types of projects. I can explain these criteria and how we've used them before as well as an Excel macro that contains many of the same concepts. The program would have to interface with Microsoft Project and the source must be created in a recent version of Microsoft Visual Studio (2010/2012). We would have to be able to communicate via Skype or a Google Hangout in order ensure you understand the projects requirements.

If you are interested but do not have experience with Microsoft Project you can download a trial copy of Microsoft Project 2010 and I could explain the logic within the database for what I'm looking to do. In a way it's just some advanced database sorting. A sample MS project screen is attached to give you an idea of how the data is stored for those who are unfamiliar with it.
