BACKGROUND ============== I have a web application built in Ruby on Rails, hosted on heroku. E.g. [login to view URL] I also have a blog to promote the web application. It is currently on WP, hosted on WPEngine using a subdomain e.g. [login to view URL] There is no integration between the Ruby app and the WP blog. MY REQUIREMENT ================= I want to migrate my blog to heroku, as a WP that is a subfolder of my web application. e.g. [login to view URL] The reason I want to do this is because of SEO. See this advice: [login to view URL] STATUS SO FAR ================ We already created two apps on Heroku. One Ruby, one WP. And we have already managed to proxy/mount the WP app to the Ruby app to appear as [login to view URL] But, I am having a problem with this configuration. I am unable to update the core WP files. I think maybe it is a file and folder permission problem, or some other problem. SCOPE OF WORK REQUIRED ======================== 1) Check the setup of the Heroku to make sure the WP is working properly, and can be accessed and managed as [login to view URL] 2) Then, I can migrate everything from [login to view URL] to [login to view URL] 3) Then, I can redirect everything from [login to view URL] to [login to view URL]
