I would like an animated video of a free-fall jump I'm planning on offering on a glacier here in Iceland. The video will be used to show technical rope rigging experts and assess the risks of such an idea. Will also use it to purchase gear.
Basically, it will consist of a hole in the glacier ice (called a moulin) with two ropes going across and two anchors on each side. From the center of the rope will be two other ropes attached to the jumper on the top. When the jumper jumps off, they will fall and the rope will become tight, preventing them from hitting the ground.
I've attached 4 media files. The first one is a drawing I've done myself on my whiteboard. The second is a video of the moulin from the bottom. The next two photos are what it would look like when the two ropes are across the hole.
