Here's a sample AppleScript that you can use to bulk download files from a list of URLs in Numbers and change their filenames:
sql
Copy code
-- Define the download folder
set download_folder to "/Users/[your_username]/Downloads"
-- Get the URL list from the current Numbers sheet
tell application "Numbers"
tell table 1 of front sheet
set url_list to value of column 1
end tell
end tell
-- Download the files and rename them
repeat with i from 1 to the count of url_list
set this_url to item i of url_list
set file_name to "file_" & i & ".pdf"
set file_path to download_folder & "/" & file_name
-- Download the file
do shell script "curl " & this_url & " -o " & file_path
end repeat
To use this script in Automator, you need to create a new "Application" workflow and add the "Run AppleScript" action. Then, paste the above script into the action. You can then save the Automator workflow and run it from Numbers by selecting the URL list and clicking the "Play" button in Automator.
Note: This script assumes that the URLs in your list point to PDF files. If the files are of a different format, you'll need to change the file extension in the "file_name" variable accordingly.
