Hello, I am needing a simple charting (oscilloscope type) interface for our Arduino Leonardo board. By way of a simple example, we will have 3 floating point numbers between 0 and 1, such as "0.6, 0.334, 0.601" which will be output every 100 milliseconds from the arduino board via the serial port and the USB cable. We need a Windows application to chart these in a running chart, such as an oscilloscope. This particular open source project looks like it would closely meet our needs: : [login to view URL] However, we would like to customize the project to chart these 3 numbers coming out of the Arduino and have a few options about the speed of charting and scale. We will also like to issue commands back to the Arduino by issuing simple text commands such as "S0.6", which will change the set-point to the Arduino from the Windows interface. This initial project will be a simple demonstration of the ability to monitor the arduino at high speed. If we work together well, we would like to provide you additional work to make the program better, with perhaps 40 hours of programming work total. However, we would like to start out by first getting the oscilloscope working in a simple way. Please provide an estimate of the cost to provide an Arduino Leonardo program that charts flexibly on a Windows platform, with an explanation of how we can modify the code to provide additional improvements in the future.
