I am a disability service provider based in Australia. My clients are school leavers with profound disabilities who need one on one care after they finish school, either in a day centre or in their own homes.
The issue that they have is that they need a lot of funding from the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) to pay for these services. And, it can be a lot of work to make the submission to NDIS, which is lengthy and involved. Clients also generally benefit from some assistance in knowing the kinds of information that will assist their case, and how best to present that information.
Currently, there are no good tools out there in the market to help clients with this. They can go to a consultant to assist, but that is expensive.
So, I am looking to develop on online tool which will prompt them to provide various key pieces of information in a structured way, and then write the submission for them.
I have attached a brochure which we have prepared which highlights some of the issues and also the type of content that will go into the submission.
