Remix a song - influences Radiohead, James Blake, Bon Iver.

Create a remix of a song. The track consists of two guitar loops, a long electronic drum kit improvisation and a long vocal improvisation, around 15 minutes in total. The goal is to remix this into a 3-4 minute track, carefully picking out the very best and most interesting parts of the drum and vocal improvisations and remixing everything into a creative, interesting and catchy arrangement. The audio loops are all in an Ableton project so you would be expected to work in Ableton and to have your own copy of Ableton 10. The electronic drums are in MIDI so there is also possibility for tweaking individual notes or some degree of quantize/groove pool. The most important thing is to have a good idea and patience to be able to pick out the very best parts of the individual improvised performances. You are encouraged to be creative and to try to create something original and to use your imagination.
