Hospital HVAC system is probabaly the most vital application of HVAC technolgy in terms of Human health, comfort & safety. Hospital HVAC system design presents unique challenges due to the level of demands placed on it, the heating & cooling loads and the requirements for dependability & hygiene. Also it has an added challenge of intergrating with a number of other complex systems not present in conventional buildings. I am a professional HVAC designer working in India. I work on all sorts of HVAC projects like Commercial, Residential, Industrial, Hospital etc. using Autocad, Revit, Excel E20 Load Estimation , HAP software etc. I have recently worked on one Hospital project, whose experience will be very helpful in working on this project. Hospital HVAC system design I will have to consider filtration, dry-bulb temperature, wet-bulb temperature/humidity (space dewpoint control), air changes, cross-contamination, pressurization, ventilation (outdoor air) rates, and exhaust . I am also well conversant with the international codes like ASHRAE, SMACNA, IMC, NBC etc. I am new to freelancer but not new in HVAC design field.
