California Licensed Architect

NXT Design is an Experience design firm based in San Diego, CA. We believe in creating memorable and impactful experiences through design. We utilize a human-centered design thinking approach to reach a deeper level of connectivity, moving past the surface and unlocking the psychological aspects of experience design. Since 2012, NXT Design has worked with large corporations as well as start-ups, providing architecture, interior design, graphic design, and project management services. We have developed designs for restaurants, offices, schools, retail spaces, event spaces, and churches. From the initial floor plan to the detailed accessories, we are obsessively passionate about design and the impact it has on our lives.

We are looking for a Licensed architect to work on a wide range of projects, from small kiosk layouts to large corporate office renovations. Architect will start on a contract project-by-project basis. Pay to be determined based on experience.

Job Details
Workload will vary based on project needs.
Architect is free to work from any location in southern California. San Diego area is preferred.

Requirements
Interior design and architecture experience is preferred but not necessary, qualified architects will also be considered.
Skilled in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Illustrator, Photoshop & 3D Rendering program of your choice.
Knowledge of building processes and materials.
Licensed in California.
Must be able to produce permit attainable construction documents.
