Hello all,

I want to model a fluid flow problem by comsol.

Applying a magnetic field on flowing liquid in a cylindrical pipe. The liquid contains iron nanoparticles which will aggregate under the effect of external magnetic field. The volume fraction of iron particles is 1%, the size of these particles is 50 nm (spherical), and the magnetic susceptibility of the particles is 0.2. The base fluid is benzene.

The particles enter the pipe as suspended particles( totally stable suspension) and they will exit as clusters or chains due to the effect of external magnetic field. The size of the clusters or chines depends on the strength of the magnetic field and applying time.
