There has always been a demand to record the tension of yarn in AirTex machines to ensure top quality production. Me and my team have already developed the hardware which includes the sensor array and the controller pcb. We need help with the development of the front end software. The software will handle data acquisition from 28 cards and do processing on the data and dump it onto a remote server. The post processing of data includes some mathematics like mean calculation, standard deviation and to check whether the value is between a user defined range. The system should also hold the data for some time and then dump it onto the remote sql server as there will be more than one machine operating at the same time. The system should also be flexible enough that it facilitates addition of new machines as well as removal. There should be nice historian which shows the running values in line chart (I have a demo app which could give you some idea). It should also generate event signals and display them on screen. The communication protocol is tcp/ip via ethernet but the software procotol to control cards is modbus (Don't worry if you have no clue what it is I'll explain it, it's very simple).
