Mapbox + Firebase mobile app MVP Android + iOS in Flutter or React Native -- 2

Please note I will only be having discussions chats with freelancers who have submitted a per phase time and cost estimate as well as clear reasoning on React Native vs. Flutter development. Development of mobile application MVP in Flutter or React Native Build of an updated mobile application based upon our previous work, backend servers and prototypes in either Flutter or React Native Both bids for Flutter and React Native will be considered, however time constraints are important, and we only have java and python developers for backend work on our team at this time. Much of the phase 1 functionality will be available written in javascript at the start of the project to use as a reference. We understand that having code ready should accelerate the development, however we will be considering Flutter implementations with equal interest if the developer is confident of fast development. The project will be executed in 4 phases, with strong possibility of follow on phases with the successful developer. It is requested that all submissions to the bid give a top level estimation of time and effort based upon our initial description and then a limited number of bidders will receive our entire design specification for a complete bid. Final decision shall be made based upon Quality of response, experience, price, and time of delivery. After each phase the progress and success will be evaluated before the next phase is allocated. There will be strong preference to a successful bidder for each phase completion. It is our desire to find a reliable single or two-person team to help us support this effort over the coming months. Phase 1: Development of application which consists of porting our current front end to either Flutter or React Native, and testing of this capability on mobile platforms. Key components: 1. Login screen and connectivity (firebase users + database) 2. Farm selection screen (firebase database access) 3. Farm Display screen: mapbox integration a. Display of primary style layer and layer selection drawer b. GPS location button 4. Inclusion of language based text tags for phase 2 NOTE: JavaScript code which executes all the components in phase 1 and interacts with the backends will be available at project start. Phase 2: Development of Application management menu “hamburger menu” and submenus for selection Key Components: 1. Hamburger menu which offers: a. Farm selection b. User management 2. Layer management drawer which offers a. Selection of visible layers with date selection 3. Inclusion of language model for multi-language support via lookup table Phase 3: Development of scouting interface ‘Waze’ style menu Key components: 1. Tagging button + long press tagging 2. Icon based menu driven by data structure 3. Preference based ordering of menu icons Phase 4: Development of tagging applets and notification system Key components: 1. Tagging applets to collect and return data to database a. Camera + note taking applet b. Cluster count applet c. Sugar sample entry applet d. Disease data collection applet e. Job assignment applet 2. Addition of phone notification system integration
