I'm an independent pharmacist and pharmacy owner who had to close my pharmacy and seek work, as an HR manager, at a reputable chain of pharmacies. This was a result of many of the points mentioned in your attachment, such as negotiation leverage, stocking supplies, and the exponentially higher sales volume.
I started my career in 2004 as a Medical Sales representative at Bayer Healthcare, Egypt followed by Solvay Pharmaceuticals (Acquired by Abbot), UAE, followed by HR management in which I excelled and made enough money to start my own pharmacy in 2016, sadly after three years I couldn't compete with the Chains of Pharmacies and sought a senior position at one of them to learn more.
The attachment you sent is very close to my heart and my recent experience, I'd be proud to work on a document that assists independent pharmacists in avoiding mistakes and in becoming more business savvy (in terms of procurement, sales and collaboration with other independent pharmacists)
