Starting with an 8.5 x 11 pdf document, copy contents (including images) into an 8.5 x 7 Word Document and format the Word Document to the look and feel of the samples provided. I have provided the 8.5 x 7 word template also.

As you can see all of the pdf's are in 8.5 x 11. I want the final pdf document to be 8.5 x 7 as demonstrated in my bid samples. We also want the final product to be 2 column for the most part (sometimes images will take the entire page in one column). What I have done to create these is to copy the text from the pdf to a word document template I have created (see attached), copy and paste the images and format the pages to look good and then covert that back to a pdf. I do not need this last step performed as I will do this. I only require the Formatted Word Documents to be provided.
The sample labeled "May 2009" is to show how the images are all creatively edited with shading, highlighting etc. It is simply to demonstrate my ideas of how the images have aesthetic appeal than a simple plain image. This is an important part of the project
The sample labeled "Pap Test" is a complete article I did as an additional sample of look and feel.
The sample labeled "Heart Disease" is the actual first few pages of content from the first of 22 articles to be redone. All 22 articles need to look like the first few pages of this sample.
All Hyperlinks in the Word Document need to be active.
I have attached a file containing a few pages of the Heart Disease article that I have done in Word and then to pdf as an example of the desired look and feel of what the heart disease article should look like. I have also included a file "Pap Test FAQ", which is a completed article that I have done as another example of what we want. I have also included a file "May 2009", which is the magazine that we are publishing online that the articles need to look like.
The final product should be 22 separate articles delivered in 22 nicely formatted Word Documents that I can convert to pdf's. They MUST be in the exact same font, coloring, and layout as in the samples provided.

Hello Everyone, I have modified the requirements of this project and I also want to clarify something that some of you have been asking. The only change to the requirements is that I would like the final deliverable to be 22 formatted 8.5 x 7 Word Documents. I DO NOT want these Word Documents to be converted into a pdf. as previously indicated. I wish to do this part myself. This will decrease the amount of effort required to complete the project. To clarify a point I have been asked. The end result is NOT one large book but rather 22 separate articles (22 separate Word Documents). The 22 separate articles begin with "Heart Disease" and end with "Complementary and Alternative Medicine". Again, see this link for the articles to be edited and formatted into 22 separate Word Documents: [login to view URL] When you look at this page it is really one large book broken down into its various sections. All I want is the 22 sections that deal with the 22 different topics in the book. I do NOT require all of the Forward or Intro, TOC, Glossary, Index, Appendix, etc. I also confused some of you with the samples provided. Here is a brief explanation of each of them: The sample labeled "May 2009" is to show how the images are all creatively edited with shading, highlighting etc. It is simply to demonstrate my ideas of how these edited images have more aesthetic appeal than a simple plain image. This is an important part of the project. The sample labeled "Pap Test" is a complete article I did as an additional sample of look and feel. The sample labeled "Heart Disease" is the actual first few pages of content from the first of the 22 articles to be redone. All 22 articles need to look like the first few pages of this sample. This includes the header, font type, size and color. Images must have some editing for aesthetic appeal. Be creative in this. I do not want all images to have the exact same effects. All Hyperlinks in the Word Document need to be active. I hope this helps clarify a few points. Thanks for your interest to this point. Regards, Lyle
