Hello. I am the lead writer for various web-based companies and small businesses. I primarily write content for blogs, press releases and company websites. I currently create and manage all the written content for Workshop55.com. I came up with the name "Workshop55" for a few reasons. First, the way "55" rings makes it memorable; usually numbers detract from remarkableness, but it's the SOUND of the number that keeps the company name returning to the mind--we're sort of claiming that "sound" in the web-service market. Second, "workshop" makes sense for a freelance marketplace; it's where stuff gets done, fast and effectively. When clients visit our site, they get a sense of our work ethic via the Workshop55 name. Last (and this is perhaps most important), the company name means something to OUR TEAM. I suspect that many entrepreneurs overthink the initial relevance of a company name; we could've gone with a "freelance" approach--i.e., something generic and self-referential--but would that have been memorable? Those companies using names like "Infinity Something" or "eSomething" are drowning in irrelevancy; words like that don't mean anything to the actual company owners, so they inevitably don't mean anything to the consumers. On the other hand, if a name has sentimental value to YOU, and your product/service is worthwhile, then the name will have value to customers. Okay, end of rant. This bid is for 10 company names for you to choose from. Thanks.
