Full Time Front End Developer (React JS)

Responsibilities Work with Design, Product, and Business team to create a highly functional web product Create efficient and reusable front-end systems to drive our web application Build reusable code and libraries for future use Optimization of code and images to increase performance. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs while balancing function and aesthetics Optimize design for maximum speed and scalability on Desktop and mobile platforms Implement automations via tools like Selenium and TagUI Design and implement SEO strategies for user acquisition Execute on your own roadmap rapidly and iteratively Participate in product releases and code reviews Constantly explore and communicate front-end best practices. Write modular and best-practice Javascript code Implement strong client-side validations Taking lead on projects as needed Collaborate with other team members to incorporate team innovations Delegate and mentor junior team members to achieve performance and goals Regular exposure to business stakeholders and executive management, as well as the authority and scope to apply your expertise to many interesting technical problems Any other tasks that may be requested by Line Manager Technical Requirements Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or related fields with strong computer science fundamentals Minimum 1-3 years work experience as a Front End Developer, but Fresh Grads with good portfolios may apply Experience working with a modern frontend stack (JS, React, Redux, webpack) Well versed in responsive websites using CSS preprocessors like Less, Sass Any additional frameworks/skillsets are an added advantage, although not mandatory. Familiar with RESTful APIs Experience with architectural work involving performance optimization with SEO Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues, client-side performance considerations, and CDN caching strategies Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git Experience with web automation tools like Selenium, TagUI. Demonstration of empathy and motivation to make the user experience a top priority. Experience in using design tools such as Sketch, or Figma to convert designs to application will be preferred.
