Japanese Language Corporation Keyword Research

The project is seeking a native Japanese speaking individual who can conduct research in both the native language Japanese domestic web and in predominantly English global financial markets. This purpose of this project is to provide the data necessary to build and maintain a database (or “matrix”) that associates (or “maps”) corporations to the search “keywords” that consumers use to identify brand names owned by those corporations. For example, within the mapping matrix or database Apple, Inc. (with the corporate stock market ticker symbol of “AAPL” as listed on US stock exchanges) would be associated with such product brand names as “iPhone”, “iPad”, “iPod”, “iTunes” and “Macintosh” (among others). This project builds and maintains a database where AAPL is mapped to the brand name based keywords iPhone, iPad, iTunes and etc. This specific project sub-task involves certain specific corporations listed in the Japanese stock markets. It requires researching brand name search patterns for those corporations in both Japanese Kanji and English. We expect that the task will require approximately 45 hours to complete. Anyone bidding should be thoroughly familiar with the "Mapping Project Instructions" PDF attached to this project site. Bidders may also be asked to complete a simple familiarization and audition process that uses real corporations from our production data entry site. Bidders will also be asked to agree to the Freelancer.com standard non-disclosure agreement before the project is awarded. We will award this project only to an individual freelancer -- no middlemen, teams or placement agencies need bid.
