Data Entry Clerk

PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for transferring Farm policy data into the Company’s new software program. KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS: Data entry of Farm policies into the Company’s new Policy Management System. Handle large volumes of information in an organized and efficient matter. Handle confidential documents with the utmost discretion ensuring compliance with internal and industry regulations. Working with Farm Underwriters to ensure accuracy regarding various information including coverages, limits, terms and other policy details. Problem identification and seek solutions under guidance and within limits. Other clerical duties as required. QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS: High school education. Post-secondary education considered an asset. Administrative and clerical experience an asset. Strong written and oral communication. High attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, and Word). Adept at workload prioritization and multi-tasking. Customer service oriented. Strong collaboration and team work skills.
