Amazon's categorization for products is different compared with Ebay. In fact, every e-commerce platform has its own category structure. We need a tool that automatically matches e-commerce categories in two different platforms. Say list 1 has categories of Amazon, and list 2 has categories of Pricefalls. The tool when inputted with the category list of these two platforms, it should automatically map each category of list 1 with each category of list 2 automatically based on fuzzy logic and related string match or any logic. The project is to have the entire [login to view URL] category tree mapped into the category tree of Ebay.com. Or entire Amazon mapped with Picefalls or entire ebay with Pricefalls or vice versa.
Every single Amazon category must be mapped into Ebay. If a corresponding Amazon category (node ID) is cannot be correctly mapped on ebay, then the Amazon category should be mapped to a null value. These null categories should also having an option for me to see what's the second best possible category.
It is assumed that Ebay and Amazon can both occasionally update their category IDs. There needs to be an executable file which can be run from time to time such that a new list of Amazon/Ebay categories can be re-mapped all over again.
