What is the net water impact of Green Hydrogen production for a specific country of your choice if all hydrogen projects announced will move ahead? 2. Quantify the water impact of full-scale Green Hydrogen adoption (please refer to IEA scenario, 2021 Report, page 44). 3. What are the implications of Green Hydrogen adoption on the main industries in terms of water requirements and GHGs emissions? OPPORTUNITY AREAS: 4. There are various innovations at very early stage that are attempting to produce Green Hydrogen using less water-intensive methods. Select a promising one and analyze the water impact as well as the economic feasibility if that were to become commercialized. 5. To date, only 9% of green hydrogen projects planned up until 2030 have declared their source of water. Research on opportunities for the water sector to sustain Green Hydrogen production without incurring in water supply issues (i.e. in areas affected by water scarcity, human needs would compete with green hydrogen for the use of water).
