DevOps & Cloud Architect/Manager - Mainland China

Architect/Project Manager, DevOps is responsible for developing and managing the global cloud native infrastructure and developer enablement infrastructure supporting the Customers software engineering and solution teams. We are looking for a senior architect with strong project management capabilities to build a plan for rolling out a dedicated DevOps and Cloud Native Infrastructure in China. Responsibilities  Manage the project across all project phases; resolve conflicts, anticipate and mitigate risks/issues to drive successful and on-time completion of project deliverables.  Gather key requirements from all relevant stakeholders, engineering managers, data privacy and data security leads, solution leads, existing DevOps organization  Support the decision to make or buy for the required services and technology  Manage the build and roll-out process  Build a plan to migrate all existing solutions from intermediate solutions to the newly designed DevOps set-up, and drive the migration project  Manage project documentation, and drive project communication. Ensure regular, timely updates to key stakeholders on project progress, key risks/issues and mitigation.  Identify and manage cross-team interdependencies; facilitate cross-functional alignment to drive progress against goals and objectives, establish clear next steps and owners, and resolve blockers that impede progress.  Support the project managers in managing stakeholder expectations for project deliverables, while holding the teams accountable for their commitments and regulatory/policy compliance.  Identify & design process improvements to increase effectiveness, drive consistency, facilitate project progress & support management's decision-making/planning; serve as the global/regional process owner where needed. Adopt a pragmatic approach focused on business outcomes rather than absolute optimizations. Required Profile  10+ years’ experience in DevOps processes, Cloud Native Infrastructure…with a core focus on the Chinese market  Project Management experience  Thorough understanding of the landscape, best practices and tools in cloud native engineering and the vendor landscape in the Chinese market  Experience with procurement processes, preferably around managed services for DevOps services  Strong problem-solving, change management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence without authority;  Strong experience with stakeholder management in complex, global organizations  Strong written and verbal communication skills;  Ability to thrive and exercise sound business judgment in a fast-paced growing organization, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities.
