Editor for Novel

I registered with Freelancer in February last year and have 86 reviews, all positive. English is my first language and my skills include technical writing, editing and proofreading. I have ongoing freelance work editing papers for an online journal for translators and interpreters and have just begun as the copy editor for The International Journal of Wellbeing, another online journal. Several months ago I edited a 65,000-word science fiction novel and the client was so pleased with my work that he commended me to Freelancer - and an article about me was published by Freelancer. Other recent work has included proofreading a number of theses on a variety of subjects, as well as individual chapters of academic writing. For two years I was a copy editor for Elsevier Science Publishers in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, rewriting text by authors who were not native English speakers. I have worked with individual clients to bring 17 books to publication and three of these clients have rehired me to work on a second book. Having been a teacher of English in high school for four years, I have spent many hours making corrections and suggestions for students' essays. For an additional two years I was a teacher of English as a second language. For six years I have been a member of a writing critique group, regularly reviewing the stories submitted and occasionally writing my own.
