Hi I'm interested in your project. My bid is for two audio files. I'm going to be honest with you since I have undertaken such tasks many times. An average one hour file can take an entire day or a day and a half to be completed since it requires repeated listening even more when there are many people speaking. Over the years, I have built up a wealth of experience within the transcription field - ranging from Military Courts and Unit briefings to Medical Transcription for various New York Hospitals, via a well- known Transcription firm. My process is rigorous, as I aim to deliver top notch results, on time, and to the specs requested. I run the audio through either iZotope RX 5 or Adobe Audition and make sure I clean it up best I can. What program I use to Transcribe depends on the Client, and what format they would like the end result - Express Scribe, Final Draft, and MS Word are all available. Whether I use Dragon Dictate or type transcript depends on the audio quality, but either method will deliver you the results you are looking for. After the second full pass of audio, I run the transcript through Grammarly and a program called Editor, just to make sure everything is in order, then it's one final proof-read before delivery. My fee may be a little higher than some, but I have the experience, the tools, and the dedication to make sure I deliver better results.
