I have 32 combinations of variables which can be chosen. Depending upon the combination selected, a Mark of "X" or "Optional" will appear in the cell of 1 to 7 levels. Sounds more complicated than it really is. I have mapped out the combinations and the output I desire. I just don't know how to construct the right formula. The end product would have a single line. In the "green" columns, the user would select one of the variables in three categories (Category 1 - Mandatory or Optional; Category 2 - Awareness, comprehension, Commitment, Action, and Category 3 - Global, Regional/Affiliate, Ecosystem, Individual.

Dear sir, This job can be finished using formulas or VBA, as you prefer. But I need only info about row 25, where is "Mandatory-Action-Individual" but levels 3-7 are empty. Everything else is clear, based on the combination in columns A-C, levels 1-7 will be filled, and if A is "Optional", then everything is filled with "Optional'.
