German to English/English to German Translation/MTPE Project -- 2

Hello, we are Uptempo Marketers which is a professional localization company based in Seoul, Korea. We have a "Huge" Project that requires multiple translators to participate in. We expect to operate with approximately 25-30 linguists just for the German batch, and there are 3 main positions we are seeking to recruit. Positions: 1. [Translators - Human Translation] The purpose of this translation project is to improve an existing machine translation engine. Therefore, it is most important to provide "Human Translation". *** You cannot use (or even refer to) any machine translations (Google Translation, Microsoft Translation, Yandex, etc.) Accuracy, grammar, naturalness, punctuation, etc. are all important factors in this project. The quality must be good so that your translated data can actually "improve" an already existing machine engine. 2. [Reviewers - MTPE & Evaluation, Lead Reviewer] The client is requesting for MTPE (Machine Translation Post Editing) on a separate track with the Human Translation. We would prefer qualified "reviewers" to participate in MTPE. Also, reviewers will be performing as lead reviewers – evaluating and sharing feedbacks to the translators so that quality can be improved for each individual’s portion. Accuracy, grammar, naturalness, punctuation, etc. are all important factors in this project. The quality must be good so that your translated data can actually "improve" an already existing machine engine. 3. [Project Managers] Since this project requires a lot of linguists to participate simultaneously, we are recruiting off-site managers who can multi-task across key functions such as: assisting with recruiting and onboarding, assisting with translating and reviewing, leading spot checks, project monitoring, and in-depth management, etc. * We would prefer individuals who are capable of translating and reviewing in both languages; however, the most important element would be dedication and responsiveness in the managerial aspect. 4. [Hybrid (Translation & Managing)] Build your own team of linguists (colleagues, friends are welcome to join) and work on a bulk of the volume. You will be responsible for the work of your linguists. * We highly recommend this position to those who have a good network of bilingual colleagues or who can actively engage in recruiting via online communities, who enjoy communicating dynamically. * The project will be continuing until mid-2021. * We can negotiate on the price either rate per word or monthly salary basis. * We can be flexible with your time schedule (adjustable on daily, weekly, monthly basis) For example, if you'd like to work on the project full time (10 hours per day) for Oct., Nov., have a rest during Dec., start part-time again on Jan. 2021, and full time again on Feb. 2021 - it's perfectly fine with us. * Please check the attached sample file for your reference (although the sample's source is in English, the actual project's source German will be similar to the sample file). * Uptempo Marketers has a regular flow of German translation demands and wishes to cooperate with trustable and responsible linguists in German or anywhere else in the world.
