I am looking for a ghostwriter to help co-writer a Y/A book about American slaves that developed into musicians during the American Civil War, entertainers of color for both sides of the Mason-Dixon line: Entertaining the soldiers that are scheduled to die. I do have an outline of what I'm looking for and general character outline, I will be the one executing the illustrations, the art samples attached are just for style and not the artwork that's going to be included in the book. I will also need a synopsis. The story is about slaves that entertained soldiers, predominantly confederates between battles, they played a role just like the entertainers of the USO. Yes Afro-American entertainers were paid a salary. The story will include how slaves adapted their ancestral sounds with American songs and music and how it developed into a different unique musical flavor. The minimum word count i need for this project = 17,610. I do feel only Americans can understand the depth of this era, so American citizens such only apply.
