RE-Build a Website for an Entertainment Company: Brainchild Entertainment

PLEASE READ ALL THE DETAILS VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO TAKE ON THIS PROJECT: WE TRIED TO BE AS THROUGH AS WE CAN: Brainchild Entertainment is a startup entertainment and production company. It produces movies and will eventually also make video-games. What do we need? Basically a 'turnkey' website: Meaning a website that we can login in our admin in Wordpress and be ready to use: WHAT WE WILL PROVIDE: - A Wordpress theme: The theme is already picked for you with many of the features we require. We have done a lot of research and settled on a theme that matches our colour palette and has a lot to offer for what we want to do. So that should cut the workload tremendously. - Logo and any artwork that would be required. - Time: We would rather do this right than ‘rush’ to finish it like many of your clients require. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: - You will go through an interview (via Video Chat): We need to know that you are the right match to be a collaborator. - You will have to provide samples of your work. - The theme will be the foundation: Upon which we will continue to work and improve the website as we go. So forward-thinking when it comes to the technology that it’s built on is key: CLEAN HTML5 code, Bootstrap 3.x, CSS3,..etc (already what this theme is built on). What this means is to please think forward when making any design decisions. And you might be contacted in the future (as a separate project) to add features to the website. - Elegant and simple design features are very important: Less text, more graphical, easy to navigate, fun and clever design elements that show attention to detail. - Has to match our company's logo in terms of our chosen colour palette. - SOCIAL MEDIA AGGREGATION: Aside from integration of social media (Facebook, Twitter, Vimeo, YouTUBe, Pinterest, Vine, Skype, Instagram,...etc), this feature will probably be CUSTOM-DESIGNED BY YOU: We will need a PLUGIN that automatically pulls in new posts from our social media accounts and displays them in a beautiful and elegant way on our website’s Home page as a feed. So if is a Facebook post, an Instagram picture, or even a blog post from the website itself, it all needs to show up as a ‘live’ feed on our Home page with the proper social media icon. You would be also able to filter by social media type and son on. Want an example? Here: [login to view URL] - Load times are critical. Needs to be SUPER FAST and navigates like you're gliding on glass (there are many factors that contribute to this we know). - Has to work on multiple browsers and mobile devices and be SUPER SLICK (very smooth going up and down the page without freezing or stalling). This is not new. All newly designed themes are responsive, but the requirement here is for it be AS SMOOTH AS POSSIBLE across all browsers. - It will have a blog (already built-in in the provided theme). - It will have FORUM (already built-in in the provided theme): This will be deactivated for the time being but we will activate it in time and have a sign-up form for users to get a name and password. - It will have an online store at some point in the future to order t-shirts, digital downloads,…etc (already built-in in the theme): This will also be deactivated for the time being, but we will activate it in time. - Needs to support multiple languages (already built-in in the provided theme).
