Summary for Back Cover:
Confrontations. We try to avoid them. But now, you have this book. You’re expecting a confrontation. You would settle for reasonableness; now you’re seeking justice.
This book is meant for you to help you have a clearer picture in mind for what you are getting yourself into. There are lots of books about how to sue someone in the Ontario Small Claims Court, as in how to fill out the forms, how to do a motion, and how to run a trial. I don’t know of any books about how to do it right. In my book, doing it right means taking a deep look inside yourself and your legal problem before filing the claim. When you answer these questions, you are already head and shoulders above the rest of litigants at the Ontario Small Claims Court.
Simon Brown is the principal paralegal of Simon M. Brown Paralegal Services and has been providing legal services to Newmarket and the surrounding areas since 2011.
