Design a Logo for a International Dog Kennel

Design Brief

We are a leading Dog Kennel based in New Delhi and Dehradun, India. We import dogs into India, show them at top dog shows in India and abroad and we breed puppies from world class winning dogs. These puppies are available to other dog enthusiasts and dog lovers. Our main interest is in dogs of the following breeds: Rottweiler, Labrador Retriever, English Cocker Spaniel, Boxer, Beagle and the Siberian Husky.

Our kennel is now looking for a world class logo that builds a brand for us and symbolizes our identity. As a logo designer you should be aware, that a logo must be such that is memorable and represent the business and its motto and characteristics clearly and accurately.

What we want:

- A classy & neat logo that is suitable for Indian as well as international audience

- A logo that looks great on Web, Print and on mementos like cups, mugs, key chains, head caps and T Shirts is a MUST.

- A logo that is clear in color as well as Black and White

- A logo that is clear, whether printed on a large poster or on a small business card

- Good aesthetic use of designs, colors, fonts and overall dimensions

- The logo design and specially the choice of colors must be such that the logo should look impressive when printed on jet back or full white backgrounds

- The copyright of the logo will be with Ryder Kennel. However, you as the designer are free to use it on your work profile to demonstrate your skills to future prospective clients.

- You MUST be available for revisions till our team is satisfied with the design colors and other aspects of the logo.

- Quick timeline is a must.... but work must be top notch. This logo will be seen by an international audience. So please do not submit cheap designs, amateur designs, quick work done with well-known fonts or clip arts etc.

What we DO NOT want:

- Cheap usage of ready-made clip arts

- Copy paste work

- Design work by amateurs

- Delays in work, excuses

- A designer or design company that is poor in English communication

Special Notes:

- Logo will involve graphic work, imagery and text

- If you view the attachment named “Ryder Kennel Logo Job - Sample Coat of [login to view URL]”. – you will see a sample logo with shading done on the golden and other parts in such a way that it looks like a 3D logo, even though this is NOT a 3D logo.

- View file named “Ryder Kennel Logo Job - Sample [login to view URL]” – this gives a rough idea of the outline … use your creativity to make our logo, this is just a guide.

- View file named “Ryder Kennel Logo Job - Sample [login to view URL]” – in our design the center space could either have the head/ face of a dog (we will provide that) or some kind of filling like you see in the file attachment named “Ryder Kennel Logo Job - Sample Coat of [login to view URL]”.

- We are a kennel with a mission and a heritage, ensure that the logo looks royal and reflects that.

Other Requirements:

- We require the logo in JPG and PNG formats

- We also require the logo in RAW form (original source files) so that we can edit and use the logo on future projects

- We require full details of the colors used, fonts used etc and the raw files.

- Logo for Social Media - We will also require the logo to also be presented in a square size for upload on our Facebook, Instagram and other social media and one version for the Facebook cover image size.
