Extract From XML / Turn american date to european date.

Hi I have a website. In a page I extract datas from a xml file to display informations. I an particular place I display a date from a field </DATE_MEC> but this field display the date like that 2019-02-22 (Year-Month-Date). Here in europe we display the date like that 22/02/2019 (Day/Month/Year) i want some one that will update mu file to display the date in the right format. Obviously, he doesn't touch the xml file.
