SEO Specialist Job Description: We are seeking a SEO Specialist who eats, breathes, and lives SEO. To excel in this hands-on role, you must be knowledgeable and passionate about SEO, with an interest in content optimization, search algorithms, and social networks. Your engagement with SEO will help to improve rankings for our sites, increase traffic and grow conversion. Experience and expertise can vary, but you must love all things SEO. What you’ll do: • Refine and execute our SEO strategies to grow sustainable rankings and capture revenue from organic visitors for our clients • Conduct research and analysis to make recommendations to optimize SEO • Work with Project Managers to ensure deliverables are being met • Define content and product features aimed at driving organic growth • Work with programming team to implement changes that improve ranking and conversions • Develop and execute link-building strategies • Continually decode Google’s algorithm and tame the “Google zoo” (Panda, Penguin) • Analyze and report on key SEO metrics Desired Skills & Experience: • SEO lights your fire and search rank revs you up • Ability to analyze data, draw insights, and develop data-based action plans • Laser-sharp focus on key metrics and driven to deliver quantifiable results • Understanding of technical aspects of SEO, including search ranking factors, information architecture content optimization, and link building • Familiarity with the role of social networks as it pertains to SEO • Experience using tracking and reporting tools for keyword and link research, content development, and key metric monitoring
