Advertising Strategist and Account Director
Consultant or Part-time
Since 1977 this Cleveland, Ohio ad agency ([url removed, login to view]) has been helping hospitals, universities and other large employers with marketing and advertising programs to find, attract and retain employees. We operate in a niche market we know well, one that is growing rapidly now with excellent prospects for the long term.
We want to expand our Cleveland HQ professional staff by adding an experienced Account Director either on a consulting or part-time basis, at least at the outset.
Our intention is to grow the role into an important full-time long-term leadership position but if preferred it could remain part-time.
From past work you already know the principal responsibilities:
Formulate and present--in writing or verbally--talent communications strategies and project proposals, especially involving clinical talent for hospitals and other healthcare organizations
Follow, investigate and assess media outlets and media alternatives
Formulate and articulate the components needed from the Creative team for the assignment and collaborate with the Creative team appropriately
Project manage client projects, whether it involves coordinating internal or external resources or handling the task oneself
Grow your client billings by pursuing and developing 2-3 new clients each year

Likes the wide range of issues and potential solutions inherent in marketing programs today; sees the constant change and innovation as fun

Is comfortable with online marketing techniques and technologies
Has been responsible for formulating and project managing a variety of marketing and advertising solutions in an agency or corporate marketing department
Is a good, smart and thoughtful person
A background in formulating and presenting recruitment marketing project proposals would be a major plus
