We want to attract the right businesses who can benefit from our services and our offer and need you to identify such leads on social media and initiate meaningful conversations with them and hand over the conversations to us once the lead is sufficiently mature.
You can do social listening and mining to find suitable leads and you could also design paid ads for social media that can generate suitable leads. Paid advertising for us on social media has not worked because we have not been able to target our ads to the right groups perhaps. We get likes and other metrics but that really does nothing to initiate conversations. Maybe we have not been able to reach out to the people who really find our services useful.

It is easier for us to convince and convert such clients by way of free samples and other means. So such leads are highly valuable and you need to find a way of reaching out to people in this situation.
The next best client for us is someone who has not yet tried web or mobile development but have ideas for their business that needs sophisticated database, interactivity and other features. These clients are on the lookout for someone who can implement their ideas.
The third category of our target audience is someone who is running a business that can tremendously benefit from web and mobile apps but the owners are too busy or unaware of the great benefits that can occur if they have the right solution. An example of such a client could be a courier business that has no parcel tracking facility or automatic SMS intimations on its website yet - something that their customers really need and something that their competitors are already offering. There are many such industries and sectors that you will have to identify for such clients and reach out to them.
The social media approach for the 3 categories of clients mentioned above will be different and separate campaigns needs to be designed for each of the above 3. In fact for the 3rd category there will be separate subcategories or industries like courier companies, etc and you will have to design separate campaigns for each industry that you identify as having potential.
