So, you’re an amazing Inventory Logistics Specialist. That means you genuinely love logistics; inventory planning is your passion, coordinating overseas orders is your obsession and managing every aspect of the supply chain from all angles is your addiction. In fact, you’re really more like a supply chain wizard. Your inventory forecasting is instinctive, and you know everything there is to know about international freight, freight forwarders, customs, and customs brokers, EPA and FDA regulations, product safety, 3PLs and carriers for B2B and B2C orders. And, it should go without saying that you can do all of this on, off and through Amazon. Your Amazon Seller/Vendor Central skills are so on point they wonder how you know their secrets. Job Responsibilities • You can manage an entire supply chain process and multiple vendors with laser-like precision • Inventory management and proper planning to avoid overstock and stock-outs • Planning and placing orders of products with overseas suppliers • Coordination with suppliers on all orders to ensure on-time production and delivery to all warehouse locations (US, CA, EU) • Review and approval of supplier invoices • Manage inventory levels at 3rd party warehouses • Arrange inventory transfers from warehouses to Amazon • Manage inventory reconciliation each month for proper inventory accounting • Manage inventory discrepancy, including over, short and damage issues • You can improve established supply chain processes, and develop new, better ones • You love the phone and know how to use it to increase ops tempo and streamline processes • You’re a citizen of the world, and totally rock international shipper/vendor relations • You know Amazon in and out, and can bend that beast to your logistics will • You can math like crazy, and understand your biz is an analytics, data and metrics game Required Skills • Willing to wear many hats related to inventory and logistics and other duties • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or equivalent • 3+ years experience in a supply chain-based environment • MUST HAVE: Experience with Amazon Seller/Vendor Central and shipping to Amazon • MUST HAVE: Microsoft Excel extraordinaire including pivot tables • MUST HAVE: Experience with international freight and freight forwarders • MUST HAVE: Experience managing 3PLs with multiple locations • MUST work Pacific Standard time 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Standard Time • May need to log in sometimes during the night PST to make sure communication with China/ other manufacturers is prompt and everything is on schedule with them. • Knowledge of EPA and FDA rules and regulations • Strong people skills; can run meetings, coordinate with vendors and get things done • Willingness to take calculated risks • Multitasking master with unmatched time management and organizational skills • Able to bounce back from constructive criticism with renewed dedication; • Excellent communicator via phone, email, apps, in groups and face to face • Ability to get our stuff shipped no matter what
