Section A: Program Specification You are required to develop a membership management system for a business enterprise. The objective is to simulate the customer registration thereby all customer profiles can be persisted. Manual/automatic membership renewals and payment processing will be included. Membership packages are priced $50 for basic, $100 for general and $200 for premium, respectively, and renewal frequency is annual-basic following the payment of each will be recorded. Of course, each package comprises the benefits or offerings for the members however this feature can be extended in future. In addition, membership reports (details of member and payments) can be generated. Essentially, the system should include a fundamental authentication and authorisation (login/logout) for the feature-access control. The following characteristics are important to be included in your system: • The system will ask the users to choose whether they are staff or manager. o Staff - § must sign in to use the system and sign out for quit § can modify personal profile § can search the customer by search criteria (at least 3 search criteria) for instance reference number and name/identity number § can create, modify and remove customer membership profiles § can handle the membership renewal package and payment processing (payment receipt should be generated) § can trace the payment that has been made o Manager – § must sign in to use the system and sign out for quit § can modify personal profile § generate the membership report consisting all member details and date of registration and membership renewal consisting payments made The following characteristics are important to be included in your system: • The system should record login/logout date and time when Staff or Manager signed in. • All details must be saved in files – text files. • GUIs should be done for all interactions between users and the system. The program submitted should have compiled and executed without errors. Besides, input validation is highly taken care for each input entry from the users in order to avoid logical errors.
